Dear friends,

Some of you may have noticed that for the last few weeks the 98batch.com website was not working. This was because the company that was hosting our website accidentally deleted our site.

Since I usually keep back-ups of our website every 6 months, I was able to restore our website to its state back in April 2007. Hence you may notice that new posts in the forum between April - October 2007 have been lost. I sincerely apologize for that.

Sometime ago I had also removed the member directory since some in our batch felt that it would be a breach of privacy to keep contact information available for the public. However, I received lot of requests after that to restore the member directory. So I have restored it, and protected its contents with a simple password access script. Though this is not a high-security feature, it can probably keep most unwanted visitors out from the directory. Hence please send in your updated contact information to be included in this directory.

The chat facility has been revamped, though I feel it doesnt look as fancy as before.
The video is still available in the new version of our site. If you notice any dead links in the site, please bring it to my attention.

I'm willing to take new suggestions to improve the website. One thing I can easily add is the ability for members to have a 98batch.com email address (eg. joyjohn@98batch.com) If anyone is interested in this feature, let me know.

Warm Regards
Dennis
